Collection: IPM Institute of North America

The IPM Institute of North America is a rapidly growing independent 501(c)3 non-profit formed in 1998 to improve sustainability in agriculture and communities through market-based mechanisms based in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and other sustainable practices.

Their mission is to improve sustainability in agriculture and communities by using the power of the marketplace: buyers want to support products and services that work to protect the environment and reduce health hazards.  Marketplace demand is a powerful incentive for increasing the adoption of IPM and other best practices in agriculture, landscapes and public and private facilities!

Their team currently works on more than a dozen projects to increase adoption of IPM and other best practices that improve working conditions, reduce greenhouse gases, improve air quality, water quality and soil health and reduce risks to health and the environment from pesticide and nutrient use in agriculture and communities.

The IPM Institute is funded by grants from government, private foundations and by fees from their services and programs.
